SLC Management appoints President of Fixed Income Business
Record Net Inflows and Growing Client Assets Under Management Demonstrate Continued Demand for Fixed Income Solutions
WELLESLEY, MA and TORONTO, April 26, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – SLC Management, the 347 billion Canadian dollars (USD $274 billion) institutional fixed income and alternative asset manager, is pleased to announce that Tom Murphy, Head of Institutional Affairs, SLC Management, has been appointed President, SLC Fixed Income, effective immediately. In addition to his current responsibilities, Mr. Murphy will now formally lead the firm’s growing fixed income business.

Tom joined SLC Management in 2018 with over 20 years of experience at Mercer where he served as a senior partner. His portfolio of work includes numerous leadership roles at Mercer, including leading the US Wealth Management business, US Defined Contribution and Financial Wellness business, and US OCIO business. United and Europe. While at Mercer, he worked in Irelandin the UK and USA and served on their Irish, UK, European, North American and Global leadership teams.
Tom graduated from University College Dublin with a degree in Economics and Statistics and was later qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. Tom also holds an MBA from Smurfit School of Business, Dublin, Ireland.
