Local business owners and investors gather for day two of Erie Homecoming
Local business owners and investors are gathering at the Bayfront Convention Center this week to Erie Homecoming.
The annual Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership event returns to the convention center after going virtual last year.
The goal is to bring together leaders for presentations and networking opportunities.
Some of the panels cover topics such as United Way Community Schools, Erie’s New Americans, and Minority Business Owners.
“Even though we have had a global pandemic and a shutdown, economic development in Erie has not stopped, and there was still investment going on and investment happening and we think there is a bright future. ahead of us, ”said James Grunke, CEO, Erie Regional Chamber & Growth Partnership.
“All of us who are trying to start businesses and build community go through a lot of the same things, so sharing stories and sharing ideas is super helpful in feeling like we’re not the only ones going through this genre. and here are some solutions that might help you, ”said Carl Nicolia, President of PSNergy.
The Erie Homecoming event continues Tuesday starting at 9 a.m. at the Bayfront Convention Center.
