Bullet Express Praises Asset Alliance Group After Last Major Order

Expansion into Global Import and Export Specialists Bullet Express has resulted in an order for 11 new vehicles from Asset Alliance Group – a team they describe as “an extension of our own.”

The latest lease is a three-year contract consisting of five 18-tonne IVECO Eurocargo 4 × 2 curtain side trucks and six DAF XF 480 6 × 2 tractors, all bearing the new blue and white Bullet Express logo.

The trucks, which are a mix of replacements and new additions, join a fleet of over 120 vehicles and will run seven days a week. They will be based in the company’s newly opened 32,000 square foot fully racked logistics center on London Road in Glasgow.

Managing Director of Bullet Express, John McKail, says: “We have been working with Asset Alliance Group for several years now and we see them as an extension of our business. To meet growing customer demand for storage, express pallets and special services, we needed to expand our fleet, and it was obvious that we would be going back to Asset Alliance Group for this order.

He adds: “The team is always very responsive, and we know that we will always be supported. We always feel very well cared for.

Asset Alliance Group will retain ownership of the trucks under the agreement, which includes all associated operational costs, including tire replacement, full maintenance, maintenance and repair requirements, safety inspections, road fund licenses and breakdown coverage.

Dougie Bennett, Director of Business Development at Asset Alliance Group, says: “We are delighted to continue working with John and the Bullet Express team. We would like to thank them for the continuation of their activities and we look forward to supporting them in their further growth. “

Founded in 1990, Bullet Express provides complete supply chain logistics and storage solutions to customers in the UK, Europe and globally.
